One of my personal favorite Spring '09 shows so far has been Jill Stuart. The collection–soft, light, sheer, and layered in grays, muted mauves, and neutrals–had a dancer-style sensibility outside of the dance studio. I loved the asymmetrical looks, exposed shoulders and oversize necklaces. I was even drawn to the handkerchief hems here (which I normally don't like) paired with leggings and tulle legwarmers worn under ankle-strap heels. But my favorite look of all was the Hammer-style harem pants with the loose long oversized cardigan. I want those pants. To me, this Jill Stuart collection showed just lovely.
