One Way or Another: Asian American Art Now is up at the Honolulu Academy of Arts. Seventeen artists from across the country present their works that "defy a definitive conception of Asian-American art." I don't know if I have a definitive conception of Asian-American art, but I know I liked Xavier Cha's landscaping tags (video), Indigo Som's photos of Chinese restaurants in the South, and Ala Ebtekar's white room complete with boombox, piece of linoleum, and shell toe Adidas.
